Nicki Johnson
Director
1987dnjohnson@gmail.comNicki was born in Meldonhall, England and lived abroad with her military family for the first several years of her life. In 1972, Nicki and her family settled in Casey County, where her father was from, and has resided in Casey County or in the area since then.
After graduating Casey County High School in 1982, she worked as a hospital Nurses Aide for many years. She later went on to have several roles in healthcare including roles as a home health aid, activity director at a nursing home, and insurance billing coordinator.
Nicki and her husband Doug founded Liberty Electronics in August of 2000 after purchasing a closed Radio Shack franchise. Over time, they steered the store to a more service oriented business, focusing on computer repair and satellite installations. Over the next 15 years, Nicki and Doug actively looked for opportunities to provide products and services that were not available in the area or that were under threat of closure. In 2007, Doug and Nicki brought laser engraving services to the county so all of the area schools would have an affordable place to get awards for their students. In 2012, they purchased an abandoned motel and started renovations immediately. The motel has by far been the most challenging and rewarding entrepreneurial adventure she has had yet.
Nicki prides herself in being mostly self taught and values her relationships with several dedicated mentors. She has a well rounded sense of retail, marketing, media relations, and manufacturing.
Nicki has served many years with Operation Christmas Child, A Samaritan’s Purse Organization, for the Heart of KY Operation Christmas Child Team. She has held several roles in the organization including Community Relation Area Coordinator and is currently serving as a Church Community Relations Team Member. In 2013, she was granted the rare opportunity to travel to Zambia, Africa to distribute shoe boxes with a team from Samaritan’s Purse. In 2013, Nicki was also named Chamber’s Citizen of the Year. Prior to that, she graduated from the Casey County Leadership Program in 2012.
As a seasoned entrepreneur, Nicki believes that restrictive government regulations on small businesses can put a chokehold on early growth efforts. While some regulations can be stifling, she still believes that perseverance and a positive attitude can go a long way.
When she is not busy working, Nicki enjoys taking long road trips with her husband. Nicki loves visiting other cities to see what ideas she can bring home that may propel Casey County forward. Of all her roles and responsibilities, her favorite is being a Nana to her 2 granddaughters, Riley and Evie.

Mindi Hibpshman
President
Mindi was born in Kansas, but growing up she lived in Washington state as well as California, where she married her high school sweetheart Curt Hibpshman in 1989. They have five children, four of whom are married, and will be welcoming a third grandchild soon.
Mindi and her husband Curt own Hibpshman Home Improvement here in Liberty and for the past few years they have organized and presented “Hibpshman’s Annual Contractor’s Home and Garden Show”. She and Curt have made Casey County their home since 2010. They moved to Kentucky from California where they owned and operated Hibpshman Landscape and Irrigation for twenty years.
After they made the move to Liberty, Mindi worked at Casey County Bank for five years where she enjoyed getting to know the community as a teller at both town locations and in Dunnville. Learning about the area and the people in the community is very important to her.
Mindi and Curt have enjoyed the opportunity to travel across the United States in a motorhome on three different occasions and have visited every state in the country. This is how they found Liberty. Mindi enjoys cooking for her family and getting together for game nights. She loves living in a small town where people greet each other by name and where we are free to talk about God. Mindi is proud to be a part of the Chamber of Commerce and she promotes our hometown in every way she can. She would like to see new business come to Liberty and see downtown full, beautiful and revitalized.

Kassidy is extremely thankful for everything her banking career career taught her and brought to her life. She is excited about this career change and all that will come with it.
Kassidy is always up for her children’s shenanigans and tries to embrace the craziness that comes with them. When not working you can find her somewhere with her husband and children. Whether it be coaching them in little league sports or cheer them on from the sidelines, playing outdoors, or just enjoying their simple county lifestyle, there is never a dull moment.

Karen Goode
Board of Directors
Karen Goode has never considered living anywhere besides her version of paradise in South Central Kentucky.
Her love for the surroundings and meeting people has led her to become a Real Estate Agent as she enjoys sharing where she grew up with others. She still resides close to her childhood home, on a farm overlooking the Green River, and is very familiar with the area and the lay of the land. Being raised as a farmer’s daughter, and being a farmer’s wife for 40-plus years, has given her the insight of how important it is to know the condition of the soil, the trees, and the area in general. Her knowledge of the natural habitat of the area will be invaluable to suit the needs of the type of environment her clients are seeking.
Karen has always been in the sales and farming industry. As co-owner/operator of their family Goode’s Farm Supply. Whether it involved logging, feed supply, fertilizer, farm gates, feeders and other implements, her sales techniques are always geared toward customer needs and satisfaction.
Karen is community-minded, having served on the Casey County Ag Development Board, Kentucky Farm Bureau Women’s Committee, and has held offices in her homemaker’s club and PTO. She is also a Kentucky Colonel.
She has an eye for making old things look like new with her re-purposing and decorating skills – from wedding cakes to old barn doors – and shares many of those hobbies whole-heartedly with her family and friends.
