Casey County Public Library

Since it first opened its doors in 1976, the Casey County Public Library has established itself as the focal point of the community as a resource for information, education, knowledge and pleasure. With a collection of over 51,000 books, periodicals, audio-visual materials, computer workstations, genealogy items, and the availability of inter-library loan services, our library offers a wide variety of material to its 15,000+ registered patrons.

Our library is widely praised for featuring superior customer service set in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We also offer a wide variety of programs for children, young adults and adults, all to promote reading, fun, and learning to our citizens. We are located in Liberty, the county seat of Casey County, which is situated in the center of Kentucky and the heart of Appalachia.
